About Us

sAs Architectural Design Services was formed in May 2012 and is based on over 30 years experience in the building and construction industry.

The company was formed by Steve Scrimshaw with his extensive experience in a variety of roles from builder’s labourer, to fully qualified Bricklayer and onto qualifying as an Architectural Technologist.

Steve has worked for various construction and architectural companies, as well as running SAS Building Services for many years, before moving into the newly emerging field of  Architectural Technology.

Along with many years experience, Steve also holds the following qualifications:

– City & Guilds Brickwork
– Foundation Degree in Building Design & Construction
– City & Guilds in AutoCAD
– BSc in Architectural Technology

Steve was very friendly, listened to our requirements and drew up suitable plans to fit our needs. He made the Planning Application process very easy and adapted the plans as required. He was also helpful with the structural engineer and building control process. We would recommend him for this type of small building project.
